New module released

The ePay Payment module for ePay has been released into stable (v. 2.5.3).
Installation instructions can be found here.

New features

Stock handling
We have removed the handle stock because of several stock issues encountered by this. The primary issue was increase of stock quantity when cancelling an order though the stock quantity hasn’t been decreased when placing the order.
With handle stock removed the stock quantity will decrease when placing the order and increase when cancelling an order. The benefits are that items in placed orders are reserved for the customer till either a payment is made or the order is cancelled.

To pursue this we have made a new feature to auto-cancel orders where no payment has been made in one hour from the order is placed. This feature can be enabled from the Magento administration. You might need to contact your hosting provider to setup cronjobs for your Magento installation for this to work.

Own receipt
Own receipt is added as a setting for Window State => Same Window.

Remote Interface Password
API password is added as a setting in the module configuration.

Bulk capture
Mass capture orders. This gives you the possibility to capture multiple orders at once. You can also setup the module to invoice the orders once it’s captured.

Instant invoice
If this is enabled the ePay module will automatic create an invoice based on the order once the payment is completed.

The ePay Payment module for ePay has been updated. The new version is 2.5.2.1 Beta.

New releases will support Magento 1.5+ only.

All new releases will be tested with a standard installation of the newest stable release of Magento.

Module updated

The ePay Payment module for ePay has been updated. The new version is 2.5.1.5 Beta.

The major changes are as follow:

  • Payments are now being processed in store base currency.
  • Added exception handling for remote interface.

Small changes:

  • Warning when returning to accept page in Firefox is solved.
  • Some cleanup.
